If you're going to search, however, make sure to search for `kernel' instead of `kernal' -- otherwise, you're probably not going to find very much useful info. I don't know why so many people spell `kernel' wrong in that manner.
`Kernel' is a noun that is strongly synonymous with the noun `core' (it's often used as the term for operating system kernels, since the kernel is the `core' of the operating system). There is actually no such word as `kernal', but if there were, it seems that it would be an adverb, not a noun.

serial device driver
Hi,
My name is aditya .I am new to linux and presently doing a mini project on serial device driver.I did the character device progrm first n after, did serial communication betwen linux n windows system using null modem and hyper terminal.kindly help me to procede further
