Scientifix Linux and Sundance Driver for D-Link NIC

I just gave Scientifix Linux a try but couldnt get a internet connection. Seems
my NIC D-Link DFE 550TX is recognized Ok, but that sundance.ko driver is
missing from drivers folder. Is it just a matter of downloading the driver from
D-Link and installing or do I have to recompile the kernel?

    what does:
    Code:
    modprobe sundance
    yield?
Also, have you tried rebuilding the kernel, and seeing whether there is an option to enable the sundance driver?
