Trying to compile a functional kernel for my system - please help me.
Though I have experience with a lot of other things in linux, I always have trouble configuring kernels. Usually, I use a pre-compiled kernel, but that no longer suits my needs. Now, I know the basic stuff : make menuconfig, and all that, but I have no idea which kernel options to enable for my system when configuring a 184.108.40.206 kernel. Here is my system:
Host Bridge:Intel Corporation 82810 GMCH (Graphic Memory Controller Hub) (rev 03)
Processor: One Celeron-633 (Coppermine)
VGA Compatable Controller: Intel Corperation 82810 CGC (Chipset Graphics Controller) (rev 03)
RAM: 128 MB
HDD: One 15GB HD
One 4GB HD (Samsung)
One 4GB HD (Western Digital)
CD: Western Pacific ATAPI CD-R/RW (52x24x52)
Floppy:Yes (don't know manufacturer)
Multimedia Audio Controller: Intel Corporation 82801AA AC'97 Audio (Rev 02)
