mksquashfs can't find libz.so.1 for some reason... please help
hi,
i've been custom kernel compiling in gentoo to prepare it for the linux-live scripts to make my own live cd. and i think i have only one problem left... squashfs.
I've compiled it as a kernel module along with JFFS2 (directly in the kernel) which provides zlib_inflate (used by mksquashfs). For some reason when i try the mksquashfs command it just sais that the library libz.so.1 doesn't exist...but i can see it in lib64....
can anyone speculate as to why this is happening and/or how to fix it?Avatar from xkcd.com, a hilarious computer related webcomic.
