Kernel Question
Hey Guys,
I am looking to install either SUSE 10 or Ubuntu 5.10. However I just found out the the VPN client I use only supports kernels up to 2.6.9.
I was wondering if anybody knows if I were to get and compile a 2.6.9 kernel, what functionality I would loose on either distribution.
Thanks

ftp://ftp.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/v2.6/ - You can find the 2.6.9 kernel in this directory of the kernel.org ftp server.
I am not entirely sure what functionality you will lose. It will depend what you decide to compile into the kernel during configuration.
