    Double PDFLUSH program



    Hi
    I use Mandrake 10.0 with kernel 2.6.11.13

    Recently i change shorewall rules. Usually "pump" command have fixed process ID 1487. I run "service shorewall restart"
    After this change the pump's ID will become either 1488 or 1489.
    There double [PDFLUSH] on the output of "ps aux".
    Is this trojan / worm / virus attack?
    Why there are 2 pdflush program running at the same time?

    I have 2 pdflush processes on Gentoo, and I've seen two of them before. They're just kernel idle processes, you should be fine.
