Kernel permissions.
Hi I have a problem with something. I go to install somethinig using kernel and it claims that I need read/write permssions. I was in su mode. How do I get read/write permissions I am trying to install a driver here. There is only that error.

Are you trying to insmod it or are you installing a kernel or what?

I am trying to install a driver for a webcam it is a thread called Webcam SUSE linux 10 in SUSE help. I keep following the instructions and it keeps saying I need read/write permissions.
