Kernel source configeration
Upon trying to go
make config
in the linux source dir (/usr/src/linux-2.4.24) I get a few errors and then get dropped back to the bash command prompt; mainly
command not found line 51
line 68: syntax error...
make: *** [config] Error 2
Do I have to do something beforehand or what do I do to fix it up?
Am running Redhat 9 with GCC installed.
Cheers

What happens when you try:
make menuconfig
??

Or use the XConfig using: make xconfig
Or if you're running Gnome, you can modify it using the inbuild kernelconfigurator, I though you could find it under System Tools.---[ MS09-99896 - Vulnerability in All MS Windows OS ; Using Windows Could Allow Remote Code Execution. ]---
Hardware: Asus P4P800, 1GB, P4-3Ghz, Asus V9950, Maxtor ATA HD\'s, 3Com GBit lan, Audigy ZS Plat.

I would try getting a new kernel tree (whether the same version or not).
