Newbie needs help with LKM's
Please help before my boss blows a fuse.
I need to write a device driver for Damn Small LInux that uses 2.6.11. My question is, can I develop the device driver under Fedora running 2.6.11 and expect it to install on DSL??
I know this is a fundumental question, but I really don't want to develop on DSL if possible.
Thanks!!

The easy answer is yes. Most of drivers in a RH distribution are the same than the vanilla kernel has. (some of them have minor changes).
But try to test your module in a DSL as much as you can.
Best regards
