Kernel Make Config: any tips?
I'd like to reconfigure the kernel on this ibook with debian so that I can enable apm, or I'd like to load apm as a module, but I don't know how to add it as a kernel module, so I was thinking about just doing make menuconfig on the kernel. Does anyone have any suggestions so I don't totally screw it up?
Also, if I do this, will it screw up the modules that the kernel currently loads automatically?
(also, this is somewhat of a learning exercise, so I'm not really looking for the easy way out.)

Also, I found this site:
http://kernel.xc.net/html/linux-2.6.8/ppc/#PMAC_APM_EMU
Do you think I can just follow this sample configuration?
