    eepro driver problems.

I compiled 2.4.20-30 kernel on my redhat 9. At "make menuconfig" if I select the intel eepro drivers as modules they do not compile properly and give unresolved symbols during loading. If I select them to be builtin everything is fine.
Has anyone faced this problem before. This problem occurs in RH7.3 too.

    thanks for your time.

can you actually post the output where it is complaining about unresolved dependencies?

I would suggest upgrading to 2.6.4 there has been a bit of work on the Intel network drivers check out the change log.
