this just started to happen after I recompiled my kernel. Did I compile a kernel that was too big.

I have had this before when i first tried to compile a kernel i know this is not a direct answer but when i compiled my kernel correctly it went away.

All right here is the command that I am using. I've used these commands a bunch and this is the first time that I've had problems.
am I missing something.Code:make modules; make modules_install; make bzImage; cp /usr/src/linux-2.6.1/arch/i386/boot/bzImage /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.4;
The computer made me do it!! Slackware
