    OS development??

    hi all,
    I currently pursuing Comp Sc. engg...i wanted to know what steps should i take to learn how to make or compile a linux OS from scratch...i don't want to compile a full OS like fedora but even a small one with basic utilities n stuff will do...
    any ideas...??
