Fedora Core 2 - kernel problems
Hi
I have installed Fedora Core 2 test version beta 1.91 and the vertial SCSI drivers do not
function . The work around is just to use the normal
ln -s /dev/hdc /dev/cdrom
delete the line in grub.conf or lilo.conf.anaconda
hdc=ide_xxxx >> this line in the kernel start up links hdc to vertial SCSI driver .
when you use cdrecord
set up as so
cdrecord -dev=/dev/hdc xxxxxxxx
These needs to be fixed but it can be worked round for now. But it is a bit annoying this
fault is present.
