Turned of symbolic links in the kernel!
Hi
after altering the kernel, i have found that in the romfs/bin directory that the busybox applications are all copied across from my server. If i run my unchanged kernel, it creates symbolic links to the busybox applications hence reducing the overall size of the uncompressed image. I was wondering if anyone knew, where in the kernel or even put me in the correct direction to enabling symbolic links, as i have turned them off.
Cheers.

I found the answer to this, in make menuconfig. Select the kernel setting. Once that pops up select ----------> File Systems -----------> Miscellaneous filesystems . And then select Journalling Flash File System V2 support.
