    I want to edit initrd located on fedora 6's dvd-iso

    Hi,
    I want to edit initrd located in /isolinux/ directory of fedora 6's dvd-iso...
    Actually i want to edit a file located on initrd. It's loader in /sbin which loads all da modules. Let me know if someone's having any suggestion.

    presumably the dvd is read-only: you can make a copy elsewhere, and edit that: to change it on a dvd, you'll need to use a dvd-writer

    Hi,
    I have extracted the dvd-iso and have also copied the isolinux directory to my hard drive and have extracted the initrd from initrd.img using gunzip and cpio and now i want to edit /sbin/init and /sbin/loader located in initrd.img. These are ELF 32-bit LSB so, 386, v1 (SYSV), stripped.
