I am running the 2.6.16.3 kernel but randomly my application is getting a 4.3 second interrupt time from what appears to be the kernel. I have run the kernel/application combination on different hardware of varying CPU power but the time is always exactly 4.3 seconds. Does anyone know of a timed event associated with the kernel which could account for this time. Obviously I have an application issue but finding out the nature of the event will be helpful.
