psion 5mx kernel problems
right, how do i start?
1.i wanted to install linux on to a psion 5mx
2.i read the howtos
3.i downloaded and unzipped arlo
4.i was told that i would need to download a kernel and an linux.img file
5.got stumped, don't think i found what i needed
can anyone give a step by step guide on how to go about this project?

Well, if you would sponsor me with one of those Psion 5MXs, I could do a very thorough investigation myself. ;-)
It seems what they're referring to is getting the kernel source, compile it and thereby getting a linux.img file (that is, a kernel image).

after through investigation i found that the 3 files i need are kernel.s5mx, initrd and vmlinuz. i already have kernel.s5mx but i need the other 2.
can i use the ones off of a boot disk or do i have to specialy compile them?
i will also need a base of linux on it so that it will boot (bearing in mind that i only have an 128mb flash card and the only way of connecting it to my linux machine is to use a digital camera with a CF slot.)
