I'm new to Linux driver programming and I would like to install a simple "hello world" driver.my running kernel is 220.127.116.11(opensuse11.2). I'm using 18.104.22.168 source tree for writing drivers.
though I enabled "enable loadable module support" and "module versioning support" while building the kernel(22.214.171.124), I'm getting
"INVALID MODULE FORMAT" ERROR.
what should i do to correct it??????
you are using 126.96.36.199 source tree to build a module for 188.8.131.52 kernel why?
this won't work, especially if you are compiling it in that source tree
you should use the source tree for your running kernel, or run the kernel from the source tree
