kill command in linux
i am running a client server program.
whenever the client is killed the pipe is broken and the SIGPIPE signal is invoked on the server side.
It must be the kill command which has broken the pipe.
But then i want to know how it happens??
how kill command closes the connections to which the process(client) is connected i.e (Server).
There must some code in the kill command which does this.
Please tell me how this happens:confused:
It's not very often that you get to answer a question on here with a song...
The solution is 'kill -9 [pid]'
(My apologies to those that could be offended, but this contains some adult language)
