This sort of **** (the above post that will soon be deleted) is becoming more and more frequent. Can't we add more security into the joining procedure. There are kids subscribed to this site.

Knoppix hard drive install and converted to Debian Testing

A little over a year ago, I installed Knoppix on one of my PCs using knoppix-installer and then converted it to Debian Testing. It worked great while I was using it but I eventually re-installed with Debian Testing from a true Debian installation DVD. The reason for this was I wanted to run Debian but some of my harware was not being recognized. Knoppix recognized my harware and then migrated my settings and configuration to the Knoppix "Debian" installation. I had spent weeks and maybe months trying to get some of my hardware to work and this method worked - for me.
