Help with hard-drive

hi,

i have a very old laptop (fuji siemens) , does knoppix work on it ??? what are the requirments for it to work ?
while i was reading abt it i got to know that it needs a hard drive ,, mine is missing , so can i connect a PC harddrive instead to my laptop?? and how if thats possible ?

Welcome to the forums!

You'd probably need to provide more information about your laptop and what version of Knoppix you are trying to run before anyone can provide any definitive answers.

That said, Knoppix can certainly be installed to a hard drive but it's default purpose is to be run as a liveCD, for which you'd only need a CD or DVD drive on your laptop.
