[SOLVED] knoppix installation success?

A friend of mine succeeded installing knoppix image into his hard drive
(known as knoppix2). In the live dvd, there are two knoppix images
one for use as the live img, the other I suppose for installation.
Any suggestions on how to do it? The friend is currently out on long holiday...

The Knoppix wiki pages have some information on installing to the hard drive:

Category:Hard drive Installation - Knoppix Documentation Wiki

Hope that gets it going for you.

Thanks Ozar for the info. You've saved me trouble and the hidden frustration of a problemous installation. I'll go for debian 4.0 than knoppix.
