How is your hard drive damaged? I'm not sure what you mean by "I have no idea how to locate my hard drive"?? What happened to make you think your hard drive is damaged. More details on what happened would be helpful.

please help

when ever I tried to run the computer it tells me that I need to Press f1 or f2 to set up, the computer locates the hard drive but cannot read it, Ive reset the BIOS....
The cables are fine ( I tried a different HDD and it worked)
I removed the bad hdd from the computer and added as a slave to my HP, the HP tells me (win xp) it is there but under my computer cannot find it.
