Talking [SOLVED] Some Questions Before installing Knoppix

Hi all

I download Knoppix 6.0 for my friend computer (( old computer ))

but I discovered that It is just for booting form CD rom but I want to Install it in

his HD can I do it with the live cd

also how much size required for the root ((his computer HD 6 GB ))

Is he need boot partition ??

I do not know but I will do like this & someone tell me if i right

1- root will be 3 GB

2- swap is 500 mb

3- the rest for his personal flies ((home))

& the last question

how to run the installer & is it graphical ??

Hard disk installation of Knoppix is not recommended by Knoppix Dev Team. I would suggest you to install any Linux distro meant for Hard disk installation.
You can install every single package, available in Knoppix, in any Linux distro.

ok but what I can install on old computer

I want easy one & support other languages ((lxde desktop)) ??

I'm not sure why this thread went dead. You might want to check out Xubuntu for an older machine
