Language Help

I just ran knoppix last night. Runs fine, but I dont read German. How do I change it to US. Any help is greatly apreciated.

where did you download it from? they have lots of mirrors, i dont know for sure if you can change the language in knoppix or not...

when you are prompted to boot, press either F2 or F3 and you should get boot options, they may have language selection, hope this helps.

If you have the PC-Welt Knoppix 3.7 Pro Edition, then the default language at boot is German. If you want english all you have to do is type this into console:

knoppix lang=us
The "=" sign is obtained by pressing SHIFT+0.
