please help me...

hey guys,

I have a small problem installing knoppix. i got the iso, burned it to a disk, changed the BIOS settings...everything. the problem is, it boots up until the point when it shows the knoppix screen, then it all goes black. what am i doing wrong here?? any help would be greatly appreciated.

p.s. im a noob when it comes to linux

1.10 ghz, 256 mb of ram
file system is ntfs
and o ya, im using windows xp home edition

The "cheat codes" help you tell Knoppix about your computer. Using cheat codes is not intuitive for the novice, so do some web searches on "knoppix duron" and snoop around the Knoppix fora for some help. Eventually, you will win!
