Booting Knoppix with a passwd-protected BIOS

Hello,

I'm wondering if it is possible to boot Knoppix 3.4 or 3.7 on PCs that have their BIOSes locked and a disordered boot-sequence. The only reason why I'm asking is that I want to use Linux on my school's computers, yet quite a few of them have HD over CDROM in the boot sequence, and I can't edit the BIOSes bcoz they are passwd protected. Is it possible to insert both the Knoppix CD and a floppy diskette that "points to" the cdrom drive, thereby bypassing the default HD boot? If so, what would the contents of the floppy be like?

Thanks

You might want to have a look at the following link for a floppy that gives you a choice on were to boot. http://www.linuxforums.org/forum/topic-14601.html
