| Booting Knoppix with a passwd-protected BIOS Hello,
I'm wondering if it is possible to boot Knoppix 3.4 or 3.7 on PCs that have their BIOSes locked and a disordered boot-sequence. The only reason why I'm asking is that I want to use Linux on my school's computers, yet quite a few of them have HD over CDROM in the boot sequence, and I can't edit the BIOSes bcoz they are passwd protected. Is it possible to insert both the Knoppix CD and a floppy diskette that "points to" the cdrom drive, thereby bypassing the default HD boot? If so, what would the contents of the floppy be like?
