tarajano Just Joined! Join Date: Mar 2005 Posts: 1	knoppix on a Toshiba Laptop hello to all of you. i have a problem running my Live Knoppix3.4 krnl2.4 on my Toshiba Satellite 2516 with a celeron 400, 64RAM. The system boots very well and i start with xfce with no problems but the screen displayed does not cover all the 12" display area. only a region at the center of the display is recognized by the graphical system of Knoppix. The OS works perfectly well in this "area-reduced" display, but its unconfortable. I know its an old laptop but if Window$98 can doit im sure Knpx can doit far better. Maybe I need an older version of Knx ? I will preciate any help. tarajano
