usblackhawk Linux Newbie Join Date: Apr 2005 Location: London, UK Posts: 241	setting up internet on Knoppix i have knoppix 3.7 and it works perfectly but i have no idea how to set up my internet connection on it, i already have broadband from BT with everything workin fine on Windows XP. but how do i get this to work on Knoppix?? i am new to linux - so an explanation would be thanked!

sdousley Linux Guru Join Date: Feb 2004 Posts: 1,767	if you have ethernet on your bt modem, it might b easier to use that rather than the USB, that way, just plug it in the ethernet (and if in knoppix, restart network) if not, boot knoppix, it should just work for you __________________ "I am not an alcoholic, alcoholics go to meetings" Registered Linux user = #372327
