IS it possible to...

Alright, i want to say hi and im fairly new with knoppix. i have the live cd and i want to put that on an unused 20 GB mp3 player. i want to be able to run it from that, so i can take my knoppix to school and wherever i may go. I want the knoppix to BOOT from the usb. is this possible without using the live cd at all?

The only problem with this is that to boot USB, USB booting has to be supported by the
BIOS. For ultra-portability, USB booting is not going to get your far if the computers that you
must use have old BIOS chips. (unless you feel like dissassembling them in front of everyone and
putting in a new BIOS chip )
