native driver support

Hello,

I want to install the native drivers from nvidia's site for both sound(soundstorm) and video(6600gt). Can someone give me a pretty detailed set of install instructions?

I migrated from Mandrake and with it you downloaded the kernel source and stopped X left the graphical enviroment and installed the drivers from nvidia's site. Modified the config file and rebooted. WAH LA! does this work?

I have spent 3 days trying to find this out please help.

Thanks
Kezz

What do you mean native drivers? Are they Linux or Windows drivers? Can you be more specific as to your problem.
