I installed dsl on my old Dell laptop and it is working great. It's connection to the network via an ethernet cable. I have network and Internet access but I can not get the printer setup. I am trying to use Apsfilter(latest version7.5) and can not get it to print a test page from my network print server. I use a Linksys wireless print server that is connected to a Epson 880, USB inkjet. I have tried it using both the supplied epson 880 driver and once with the ghostprinter driver but no output.
Before I remove apsfilter and install cups has anyone gotten a network printer setup using apsfilter, if so I'd love to know how you did it. Now if it turns out apsfilter is not best used for network printers, do I have to remove it before I install cups?
