Regional fonts and Knoppix

hi guys,
Some guys at my univ are trying to intergrate regional fonts (hindi etc) in linux distros and then distrubte them as live CD's.
My first query is how do we go about integerating fonts in linux and secondly, we all are kinda fans of knoppix..so we are thinking of integerating it in knoppix itself.
Is it possible???
appreciate ur help in advance

I cannot tell you about the Fonts. But what I can tell you is that knoppix does supports customization at some extent. Just google a little bit.

Cheers
