Knoppix remaster with lilo changes

Hi,

I am trying customize knoppix. I have been following the knoppix remasterring guide and it doesn't mention making changes to LILO. I know how to configure LILO and I know that normally I need to run /sbin/lilo after editing the /etc/lilo.conf file. But I am don't think that running lilo will work because it will install LILO on my local hard drive.

From my understanding, when I run /sbin/lilo it will read the configuration file and look for the boot= directive and install LILO on that partition. However, I do not want it to install LILO on my local hard drive. I simply want to edit LILO to change my options on my remastered knoppix CD.

Thank you for your help.
