Dam Small Linux (DSL) - HELP. installed on flash drive, need to update browser and java

Ok, here is what I have. I purchased a 128 mb flash drive that had DSL This is set up to run the anonymous TOR network. I transfered the files to a larger flash drive (512) so I could maybe speed up the system and install some plug-ins into the browser.

Is there a better linux OS that I can run that will be faster? The TOR network is a must.

I want to be able to install the latest version of firefox if possible and java plugin, and other plug-ins if possible.. How do I do this?

I am pretty familiar with linux. I'm running FC4 on a few computers. Thanks for any help you can provide!
