davea0511 Just Joined! Join Date: Sep 2009 Posts: 1	I know ... holy necropost, but I was led astray by this thread and I thought others might too. Knoppix has the RPM tools built in so you can just execute RPMs directly: rpm -i <package name> The only problem is for your first rpm you'll first get an error that /usr/src/rpm/SOURCES doesn't exist. Simply create that directory, rerun the rpm command and you'll be good to go.
