Knoppix on Mac

I have a Mac G4 (powerbook, 12 in.) running 10.3.9. I have what seems to be an experimental Knoppix for running on mac. Now, every time I try to boot by pressing "C", I just boot into OS X again. I tried the other method of SHIFT+OPTION+COMMAND (apple logo, I think)+DELETE. A file icon came up and flashed a question mark alternating with a Mac logo, then booted into OS X. I tried changing my boot volume in System Preferances, but the CD wasn't there. Did I burn the Image wrong, or Am I using bad commands? Any help is greatly appreciated.

It seems like it cannot see the CD image. It's experimental, and maybe that's the problem.
You could try Ubuntu Live CD for ppc. Hopefully that will work.

Think it'll work booting from Open Frmware? I'm getting that Ubuntu image now.

Yes, I know you need to hold c. I tried the startup disc and that didn't work either. Open Firmware yeilded no results either.
