hi im new to knoppix and just got it installed, but now i dont know how to connect it to the internet. can any 1 help me? I have cable high speed internet, and hd installed knoppix 4.0.

Is your computer connected directly to the modem, or does it connect through a router?

Either way, all you really have to do is just configure your network card with the correct IP address and you should be good to go. To configure the network card, look under the System menu in Knoppix and there should be a gui tool to configure the card there.

thx now for the really silly question. ive downloaded wine but i dont no how to installit
how? in the easiest terms possible thx plus how do i use the webcam?

for wine, if the file you downloaded is in tar.gz format, extract it and take a look through the README file.

for webcam, I have never tried to use a webcam ever, so I can't be of help there.
