Wireless help ??

I have booted from DVd no problems on my desktop,internet works fine from my router.

However I cannot get the laptop that is wirelessly linked to my desktop to find the router,can't even get the PCMCIA card to light up at all !!

Any help is gratefully recieved

Its an Inxq card

From Maplins

No problems with windows

I would love to abandon windows and move to linux but I can't until I get this card working

Any drivers about ?

I think this must be a common problem... at least for n00bs like us (or me, anyhow). I have a Linksys WMP54G that I have to cheat with nodhcp on startup. If I try to ifconfig eth0 up, my machine freezes. Same if I go through the network configure through the menu. I must read on!
