Knoppix live dvd 5- saving configurations

ok this is kindof pissing me off, cuz i cant save my settings and i need to change everything over when i boot knoppix up. I put my USB flash drive into my computer the same time i put the dvd in (before it boots). However when i choose to save configurations i only see /mnt/floppy and my USB is not there. Can someone explain to me how i can get to save onto the USB?

thanks in advance

boot with flash

check out the cheatcodes at F2 or F3 or here
give this a shot at promp
knoppix home=/mnt/sda1/knoppix.img
sda1 is your flash (change if it's different)
or test added combos
knoppix.img is the persistant image
good luck
