slax

i have usb stick key 2 gb and knoppix on it.Now my question is can i have slax on the same key with knoppix.If so will this command take slax on my usb stick key?

ok i wasnt clear enaugh.I want to take slax to my usb stick key with

I think that command will format your harddrive. They've changed the installer a few times recently so I'm a bit behind, but it will certainly overwrite your mbr onthe key, so it will only boot Slax. You may be able to edit the isolinux.cfg to have other options, but I'm not sure. I've only ever used one at a time.

Ive never tried what youre talking about on a flash drive, but i think you will have to partition the drive, install slax on the second partition, and install a bootloader, unless youre booting from the cd, then you could use the ;slax from hd=/dev/xxxx command, and force it to boot to slax on the other partition. I dont know that for sure, just a guess.

i have tryed

two times but it happens nothing.Slax just boots into the login withowt making copy on usb stick key.Is there any other command.??

That cheatcode may not work with slax. Some cheatcodes are distro specific. Check here for more documentation on it.

You may have to do a little digging on this site to find what you need, but it mentions putting it on a flash drive.
