I installed knoppix live DVD 5.0.1 on a laptop and everything seems to be ok.
I start with this command line:

alsaconf say ok, sound driver is configured. have fun.

On alsamixer, it's not possible to put the pcm even with pressing "m"

Does anyone have an idea that i didn't have yet ?

Well, it seems that i tried all possibilities..
and no one has a better solution.
