how to change the language

hi guys
i have knoppix 5.1 live cd
i have downloaded it
but when i boot through it starts in KDE but everything is in GERMAN
how to change that language to english

Everything is in German because you downloaded the German version of Knoppix.

You will have to download it again. Be sure to download the English version, the one ending with "EN":

You don't have to download it again and burn another disk. You can pass this string at boot prompt:

knoppix lang=en

In fact you can run it in whatever language you want.

i just typed "knoppix lang=us" at boot prompt and it solved my problem
