Knoppix 5.1.1 will not install to HD

I've tried to install Knoppix 5.1.1 to my hard drive on both my PC and laptop but get the same errors on each stating there is not enough space. The partitions are each between 5 and 8 gig in size so I don't see how space could be an issue? I tried both multiuser and live cd install (where you run the live distro from HD) and both gave the same errors. I didn't try the debian install as I want as much as possible from the live disk to be copied over.

Anyone else have this problem?

Martin

EDIT: tried the Debian install, same result, it says there's not enough space available, which is not true. It must be a bug in the installer, hopefully the next release will have this fixed.

I've gotten word from the wireless thread I'm running that anther user has the same problem so it does look like a bug.
