Connecting to Wireless Internet

I have a Dell Inspiron 6000 Laptop and am very new to Knoppix Linux and cannot connect to the internet. I was wondering if anyone could possibly help me, when I try access the internet it simply says "Page could not be loaded", I know i'm not connected to our home's wireless internet connection, but I dont know how to connect to it. Please help, would be greatly appreciated.

You'll need to install some sort of driver for your wireless card, but first you need to find out what chipset it uses (since that decides which driver to use). Open a command line and type
Code:
lspci
, then look for a line about your wireless card.
