Wireless Networks

Can teach/tell me how to access wireless networks so that I can access the internet using Knoppix. When I was using Knoppix off its CD I was automatically connected to my home wireless network but now i've installed Knoppix onto my hard drive I can no longer connect to the network, please help.

You never posted the details of your wireless card in the other thread - finding out what driver you need will have to start with this...

I'm trying to access my home network using wlcardconfig in the root shell but when i enter this command the following message appears:

Xlib: Connection to :"0.0" refused by server
Xlib: No Protocol specified

Xdialog: Error initializing the GUI
Do you run under X11 with GTK+ V1.20.0+ installed?

Have you any idea what this means, I could access the internet and the network no problem when I ran it off the cd, i didn't have to download or install any drivers or anything, just connected automatically
