I just copied DSL linux to my hard drive with the frugal install.
Now it says that there is a "read-only" filesystem, which I cannot edit.

Read only file system.
I just copied DSL linux to my hard drive with the frugal install.
Now it says that there is a "read-only" filesystem, which I cannot edit.
I tried logging as superuser, and remounting the partition with -rw. Oddly enough it says that this perticular partiton is a /CDROM drive when I try the mount command.
Anyone know how to fix this?

mount -t iso9660
mount it with the iso9660 file system or cdfs then navigate or open the mounted virtual system and then copy and paste the info or files u need

Thanks for the help, I ended up just switching distros. Works fine now.
