    Knoppix does not load completely

    I am a definite noob as far as Knoppix is concerned, and for some reason the latest Knoppix DVD that I created will not load completely. It loads the Linux "mountains" screen, then the colored letter scanning page. It then stops and freezes there. The DVD worked fine on my home desktop, but on my parents computer it freezes at that point for some reason. My parents computer has been reformatted, could this be a problem? Thanks!

    Knoppix doesn't require a hard disk to operate so I would say that it is probably not to do with the reformat. Their DVD player could be a little messed up or so could your DVD. I would check those, maybe try reburning the knoppix dvd.
