You have 8800GT graphics card and it doesn't work properly in some distros. Are you planning to install Linux or want to run it as LiveCD only?
You can install Linux along with Windows OS easily and you will have choice at startup to boot up either OS.It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

I wanted to try it first so that's why i wanted the live cd, if i like it i will then probably dual boot with vista.
